Abstract
Esta investigación busca entender el marco jurídico y teórico del sistema educativo en Colombia,
haciendo énfasis en toda la base normativa que rige la formación de estudiantes y docentes en
el país; así como las políticas públicas vigentes del sector educativo, sus objetivos y
características, con el fin de determinar si estas se ajustan a las necesidades de la población
estudiantil, sus características socioeconómicas y son suficientes para que los estudiantes
obtengan competencias técnicas y teóricas para la educación superior y a nivel internacional.
Este análisis se va a aterrizar en la localidad de Suba en la ciudad de Bogotá, revisando la
caracterización del sector educación y posterior a esto, comparando cinco instituciones desde
factores demográficos, poblacionales y de calidad, dentro de los cuales se revisará el resultado
de las pruebas SABER.
This research seeks to understand the legal and theoretical framework of the educational system in Colombia, emphasizing the entire normative base that governs the training of students and teachers in the country; as well as the current public policies of the educational sector, its objectives and characteristics, in order to determine if these are adjusted to the needs of the student population, their socioeconomic characteristics and are sufficient for students to obtain technical and theoretical skills for higher education and at an international level. This analysis will land in the town of Suba in the city of Bogotá, reviewing the characterization of the education sector and after this, comparing five institutions based on demographic, population and quality factors, within which the results of the SABER tests will be reviewed.
